Balidea, the official sponsor of Monbus Obradoiro, hosted the presentation of Brazilian centre Felipe Dos Anjos as a new member of the basketball club's first team today.
José Ángel Abeal, Balidea's Director of Business Development, attended the event and welcomed the player, highlighting the importance of the collaboration between Balidea and Obradoiro: 'We are proud to welcome Felipe to our offices in Santiago. As you know, Balidea has been sponsoring the club for more than eight years, particularly the youth team and the foundation for promoting basketball among younger players. We already feel that Obradoiro is part of us, both as official sponsors and as fans'.
Felipe Dos Anjos has joined Monbus Obradoiro to bolster their defence. In his first interview as an Obradoiro player, he expressed his excitement about the challenge ahead: 'Of all the teams I've played for, this is the one I've adapted to the fastest. Being here is a new challenge, and if all goes well, hopefully we can return to the ACB again', he said.
Andrés García Bustelo, Marketing and Development Director at CAB Obradoiro, thanked Balidea for its constant support: 'The club would like to thank all our sponsors, and in this case our friends, because Balidea is a special company to us. This is not only because of what it means as a sponsor, but also because of its commitment to the youth academy and, above all, to our junior team', he said.
