Description: The aim of this project is to develop innovative technologies which allow total interaction among professionals attending fairs, conferences or events by using mobile device applications. Thanks to this interaction, attendees will be able to communicate both with each other and with the event organisers. In addition, they will be able to determine their position and find their way inside and outside the fairgrounds. These tools will be complemented with visits to the stands through augmented reality technologies.

The project will serve as a test for the recommender system of the Galician start-up S-REC, a company specialising in developing recommendation technologies for events and professional contacts.

This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), and supported by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Galician Regional Government (Xunta de Galicia) through the Conecta PEME programme in order to foster cooperation among SMEs and the rest of the actors in the regional innovation system.
