Job description

We are looking for junior AI engineers with a strong technical background in Python and machine learning to join our team and help develop advanced artificial intelligence solutions. You will work on projects across various fields, applying language models, natural language processing (NLP), AI agents, and specialised models in real, highly demanding environments. This role involves working with open-source technologies such as PyTorch and Hugging Face, as well as model orchestration and deployment frameworks. You will contribute to the development and integration of AI capabilities into products and services.

Requirements

  • Living in Galicia
  • One to three years' professional experience with Python.
  • Solid knowledge of machine learning or NLP (transformers, embeddings, metrics and evaluation).
  • Experience with the PyTorch and Hugging Face ecosystem libraries (Transformers and Datasets).
  • Familiarity with backend development, REST APIs, microservices and containers.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux environments (CLI, virtual environments, dependencies and logs).
  • Good command of Git, testing and maintainable development practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Technical rigour, autonomy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities


  • Developing AI components and services in Python (APIs, microservices and pipelines).
  • Train, tune and evaluate models using PyTorch and Hugging Face ecosystem libraries.
  • Implement NLP tasks such as classification, extraction, summarisation and semantic analysis.
  • Participate in the design and validation of AI agents and conversational flows.
  • Prepare, debug and organise datasets for experimentation, training and validation.
  • Build inference pipelines, automated testing, and basic monitoring processes.
  • Analyse metrics and results, detect incidents, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the senior team on technical reviews, best practices, and design decisions.
  • Coordinate with other backend, data, or front-end teams to integrate and deploy AI solutions.

Will be valued

  • Experience with FastAPI, LangChain, LlamaIndex or other agent-oriented or model integration frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of optimisation and efficient inference techniques, such as quantisation and batching.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD or MLOps principles.
  • Participation in personal projects, research or open-source contributions.
  • Previous experience in regulated sectors or highly critical environments.
