This standard specifies the requirements that companies must meet in relation to Environmental Management. It is an international standard applicable to any company or agency, regardless of sector or size. BALIDEA has an accredited environmental management system, according to this standard since 2007. Legal document of compliance with the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) The environmental management system implemented by BALIDEA and certified under the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004, is defined in accordance with the requirements of EMAS, issued by the European Union in the 1836 EEC Regulation /1993.

The Eco-Management and Audit Scheme implanted at BALIDEA has been audited and conforms to the EU’s EMAS initiative.  BALIDEA holds an accreditation since 2007 (reference: VDM-07/044).

The Occupational Health and Safety Management System promotes a healthy and safe work environment, allowing for the identification and control of risks to health and safety, reducing the potential occurrence of accidents, complying with legislation and ultimately improving productivity. OHSAS 18001 is the internationally recognized specification for the certification of management systems for occupational health and safety.

The corporate social responsibility reports are published annually by BALIDEA and are made as recommended by the Guidelines for the preparation of Sustainability Reports in the most current version of the GRI. In addition, our corporate social responsibility reports are subject to annual external audits by AENOR, obtaining the result of GRI A+.
