Implemented and certified by IQNET AENOR in 2005 (reference ER-0627/2005). The scope of this standard covers the entire life cycle development of information systems and is defined and based on version 3 of the Metrica methodology.

In June 2009 BALIDEA obtained compliance with the SEI (Software Engineering Institute) official evaluation, SCAMPI: Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement, obtaining maturity level 2 certification by Esalia, company certified by the ESI (European Software Institute).

For the support and maintenance functions, BALIDEA has implanted a norm based on the ITIL methodology (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). The scope of certification of this standard has been established for consulting, support and maintenance services, and to the Company’s internal management systems.

Since December of 2009 BALIDEA counts with this certification which specifies the requirements for the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an Information Security Management System, which complies with ISO/IEC 17799 (currently IEC/ISO 27002), having its origins in BS 7799-2:2002.

BALIDEA is currently working on the implementation and subsequent certification in the standard: Management of Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) Systems: UNE 166002:2002.
